5:15: What a day, what a mind blowing ending! 0.5 of a second between first and second place, and Craig Lowndes does it! FORD WINS BATHURST!!

So the only day of the year where I spend the whole day in front of the TV has paid off this year, enjoying a race of stops and starts, big accidents and one of the closest finishes in Bathurst history.

This year brought a new element to my viewing experience too, figuring out and logging into the V8 Supercars Live server on Bigpond so I had live telemetry, lap times and videos on the laptop as well as the TV coverage.

Though all this does is make me want to be there in person again next year!
